I’m not even supposed to be here today!

There’s nothing worse than being 34 yrs old and being treated like you’re still a child. It’s like some people think you can’t handle life or a job anymore. This isn’t my first time working with people or being incharge of people. I was in the Marine Corps for 4 yrs, made it up to E-5 (sargent). I was an office manager for a Nextel dealer for 6 yrs. I was even an assistant manager at blockbuster for a short time.

Now i’m working in a warehouse with 2 others guys and on somedays it’s hard to get everything done. And on those days you get shit from people who think you can’t handle the job and after a few days like that they feel you can’t be trusted with the simplest of tasks. It’s fucking annoying! If you keep treating someone like a piece of shit, pretty soon that person is gonna become a piece of shit.

It’s like you’re an ant within a group of ants trying to get out of the ant hill in search of food, but there’s someone standing over the ant hill with a magnifying glass burning off your legs and feelers and you just fall back down the hole. But the fucked up part is that the guy with the magnifying glass is a fellow ant.

After watching the first four harry potter films i couldn’t wait for the next movie to come out so i started reading the books. What i found is there’s a lot more happening in the books that you don’t get to see in the films. So i went back and read the first four books. In my opinion the books are a lot better then the films.

One of my favorite tv shows at the moment is dexter (third season starts soon!). After watching the first season i found out that the character is based on a novel by the same name. I went out and bought the first two books. The best part about these books is that very little is used in the tv show. Its a very different version of dexter. I can’t say the books are better than the show, just different. The third book was just released on paperback and im just starting to read it.

So tonight my buddy joe invited me to go see the angels get raped by the yankees. We had really great seats. Only 12 rows from the field, behind the yankee dugout. It was really neat to be that close to the action. I mean if there was action…..lol? It was a very boring game. Not too much going on. A couple foul balls came our way, but that was it. Beer was $7….needless to say i didnt drink while i was there. I told him next time we are going to a hockey game. I would gladly pay $7 for a beer to watch players smash each other in the glass behind the net at a kings game.
