For those of you who aren’t geeks, that means its my 34th birthday.
I did a little celebrating this weekend but the big party will be tonight at the usual place.

After watching the first four harry potter films i couldn’t wait for the next movie to come out so i started reading the books. What i found is there’s a lot more happening in the books that you don’t get to see in the films. So i went back and read the first four books. In my opinion the books are a lot better then the films.
One of my favorite tv shows at the moment is dexter (third season starts soon!). After watching the first season i found out that the character is based on a novel by the same name. I went out and bought the first two books. The best part about these books is that very little is used in the tv show. Its a very different version of dexter. I can’t say the books are better than the show, just different. The third book was just released on paperback and im just starting to read it.

I was watching Chasing Amy for the millionth time last night because i’m a huge Kevin Smith fan and it’s one of my favorites. But this time when the song “Let’s Go” by The Cars played in the movie i started to think about how much i dig the song. When i was younger i never really got into The Cars. I remember hearing them on the radio but i was too young to really understand how good they were or maybe my taste in music is changing and thats why i like them now. Either way they are now part of my always growing collection of Music.
So tonight my buddy joe invited me to go see the angels get raped by the yankees. We had really great seats. Only 12 rows from the field, behind the yankee dugout. It was really neat to be that close to the action. I mean if there was action…..lol? It was a very boring game. Not too much going on. A couple foul balls came our way, but that was it. Beer was $7….needless to say i didnt drink while i was there. I told him next time we are going to a hockey game. I would gladly pay $7 for a beer to watch players smash each other in the glass behind the net at a kings game.

I heard Kevin kept a lot of the ad-libbing that Seth did in the scenes. It’s gonna be great to see how well this works in the flick. I think Kevin and Seth have the same humor and it will work well together. The trailer is really funny!
